Privacy Policy

Draft — last updated 2026-08-16. This is a starting template, not reviewed legal advice; treat it as a placeholder to replace with counsel-reviewed language before any real student account data is collected at scale.

What we collect

When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from your GitHub account (via OAuth) — we never see your GitHub password. We also store which process scenes you've viewed or completed, so your progress can persist across sessions.

How we use it

Solely to run your account (sign-in, session persistence) and to show your own progress back to you. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Account and progress data is stored in a Postgres database (Neon). Authentication is handled by Auth.js. Data lives for as long as your account exists; you can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time. No functionality is currently gated behind an account — you can use the cockpit globe and flagship scenes without signing in at all.
